Hey White Ashians,
We wanted to pop in with a quick update. Sorry for the delay on the surveys, they should be coming your way early next week. On the production front, pages are coming in on the regular from all of the artists involved in the close to 80 page endeavor. So far, everything is still on track for an on time delivery at the end of May for the PDF and fulfillment of physical rewards starting towards the end of June. We'll let you know if any of that changes.
Till then, have a wonderful weekend.

Delayed BIG THANK YOU and roadmap going forward

Hello White Ashians,
Thank you SO MUCH for turning out in force once again. It's an amazing feeling to be almost 9 years into creating a series, and to be hitting some of our biggest numbers ever. We are so incredibly excited to bring you this issue and for the future of White Ash.
Speaking of the future, that's partially why this update was delayed a couple of days. We would have gotten this to you on Wednesday afternoon, but for the past couple of days, we've been plotting out White Ash's burgeoning dynasty at the annual Comics Pro retailer conference. And while I can't get into details quite yet, it's all looking incredibly bright. So again, thank you!
If you’ve been with us before, you know we like to provide a roadmap for what the production and delivery timeline looks like going forward.
But before we dive into The When, we wanted to shout out to The Who -- the incredible artists who bring White Ash to life. Here are the links to the social media profiles of those joining us on this issue, if you’d like to get to know any of them better and give them a follow.

Also, with the current ever-changing nature of social media, if you like the kind of books we put out, I’d suggest giving me (Charlie) a follow on Kickstarter or joining our mailing list. That way, you'll be sure to know when we're going to drop something new. And don't worry, we don't spam our backers with the mailing list. We only send out one (maybe two when we have a KS live) blasts a month.
NOTE: We use Kickstarter hidden reward tiers to offer special discounts through our mailing list to our subscribers. These are always the cheapest ways to get our books. So if you haven't signed up before... now's the time.
But back to White Ash and what's next. Here's the schedule of things going forward.
Week One — Taking care of business. Kickstarter collects fees and backers who may have forgotten that their credit card has expired/was stolen/was maxed out on See's Candy V-Day Samplers that you really were planning on giving to someone but ate in the car ride home, will be given a chance to update it. PLEASE CHECK and see if you're one of the 40 backers who have a notification from KS. ALL CARDS NEED TO BE RESOLVED BY TUESDAY NIGHT.
(NOTE: If you're having financial difficulties, we understand. Kickstarter only gives a one-week window to resolve your card issues. If you need more time, message us. You’ll be able to resolve your card issues post-campaign in Backerkit.)
Week Two-ish - Tell Us What We Need To Know (around March 9th) — As soon as Kickstarter has finalized the backer list, we’ll send out our Surveys. Please fill these out as quickly as possible. Our plan is to start fulfilling the digital catch-up rewards by early next month.
Week Four-ish - Here Come the Catch-up Digital Goods (around March 25th) — Once we have all the surveys back and we have your emails and addresses in hand, we'll send out all the PDF’s that are finished. (Which will be everything but White Ash 09-10.5))
After that, we’ll keep you posted. As of now, everything is on track for a May delivery of the PDF's for Chapter 09-10.5 and physical fulfillment commencing in June when the books get back from the printer. That said, if we hit any delays, we'll make sure that you're kept firmly in the loop.
If you have any questions, always feel free to reach out to me here on Kickstarter or find me on the following social networks:

Two more things. One of the really fun bits we did in this campaign was to have Lillian crossover a little with other projects. She jumped into the world of Trekker and Sink Your Teeth in via one-page crossover comics. We also have a crossover print going with our friends at Summit. Backing any of those campaigns will get you in on those crossover promotions.
Lillian did manage to get herself into one last bit of cross-promo trouble with our friends over at Blood of Atlantis.
Blood of Atlantis, which is part Laura Croft, part Dungeon Crawler Carl and all fun-tastic adventure, is draw by Fran Delgato who many of you may know from her story in Glarien: Short and Deadly. The series follows Beatrice who gets caught up in a series of real magic quests played out in the dark alleys and hidden doorways of the world starting in New York City.
The series is a great fit for those of you who love urban fantasy and adventure tales... which is pretty much everyone who enjoys White Ash. This is the perfect time to check out Blood of Atlantis, as they have a discounted catch-up pack, and everyone who backs both campaigns will receive a Lillian and Beatrice crossover print. If you back at a digital level, you'll get the digital print; physical gets you a physical print (like the campaigns above).
Blood of Atlantis has 11 days left in the campaign, so make sure you Take a Look.
And before we wrap things up, we did want to shout out one more campaign this time around. Lillian's not popping into this one, but we thought our White Ash fantasy fans might enjoy this new tale from artist Johanna Taylor and writer Rusty Marcum
Sleeping Wizards follows a ragtag party of wizards & thieves who brave a dangerous dungeon to free themselves, and find out what happened to Eliza's missing father! You can back the campaign HERE for another 24 days.
Back in touch very soon. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone.
We can't do any of this without you.

Lillian on your desk with a vampire? What's this world coming to...

Hey White Ashians,
Lots of fun news in this update. To start with, we've hit the 40K stretch goal and will be making Chapter 09/10 a perfect bound book. Based on how nice the perfect bound Glarien and Thane one-shot came out, we think you'll be really happy with the final product.
Secondly, the Lillian 6" acrylic standee proof came in and it looks incredible.
Those are currently available in the add-on section of the campaign. Going forward, the plan is to build a full set with the next likely standee being Glarien. Glarien will be followed by Aleck, Katlyn, and Thane. And, depending on demand, we may eventually roll out another wave of the White Ash Crew (Mara, Seth, Vivian, and Gregson).
Speaking of everyone's new favorite desk ornament, Lillian is also on the move again. As we mentioned previously, she jumped into a one-page crossover with Trekker. Now that Lillian's got a taste for travel, she isn't stopping. So she's heading to Chicago for a quick, one-page meet-up with Sink Your Teeth In's Corsica Smith, the Windy City's #1 Vampire detective.
Now, there's a chance you haven't heard of Sink Your Teeth In yet, as it's a brand new series. But we here at White Ash were lucky enough to read the first issue, and it's fantastic.
Zoe Tunnell, Lauren Knight, JP Jordan, and Jodie Troutman have created a new spin on seedy detective noir life, featuring femme fatales who know how to put the vamp back in Vampire. Sink Your Teeth in is live for one more week, and you can check it out here.
So here's how this works. IF you back both White Ash and Sink Your Teeth in at a digital level, you’ll get the digital version of the story. IF you back both books at a physical level (having a comic mailed to you), you will receive a one-page, Corsica and Lillian She's a Pain in the Neck... print comic.
So be like Lillian, and head to the Windy City and get a bit of necking in before time runs out.
Thanks again, everyone. You've been amazing this campaign. We really couldn't do any of this without you.

Stretch Goal Unlocked. Time for... karaoke?
– Sat, Feb 07, 2026 at 12:49:01 PM
Hey White Ashians,
The campaign is continuing to cook. We have rocketed past the first Stretch Goal and we're adding a Lillian pin-up inside by the incredibly talented Denis Dupanovic. Denis is the artist who is drawing the Trekker Crossover comic we mentioned last update. Denis' style is super playful...
... and we're SUPER EXCITED to see his take on Lillian. If you want to check out more of Denis' work, you can find it here.
Speaking of Lillian, she's decided to celebrate us reaching the first Stretch Goal with a round of karaoke. Unfortunately, Lillian's go to number, We Don't Need Another Hero (she's a fight your own battles kinda girl), ruffled the feathers of some of the newest heroes hitting kickstarter.
The Traveler, Epic and the crew from the new Summit Universe, have their own opinion about how many heroes we all need. And while Lillian is a bit oblivious to their displeasure (diva's gotta diva) we here at White Ash wanted to give them all a good welcome. Which is why we thought this incredible, Four Campaign Crossover Print was the way to go.
If you'd like a high res digital print version of Lillian rocking out, or a nice 6x9 physical print of this piece by Gerald Vonstoddard, here's how to get it.
- Back ALL FOUR campaigns. Those who back all four at a physical level will get a physical print, those that back all four at a digital level, will get a digital print.
- There will be a question on the survey we send out post-campaign that you can fill out so we know you backed all four.
- If you want to be nice, add a comment to the other campaigns saying “GREETINGS FROM WHITE ASH” so they know where you came from..
The Four Campaigns:
That's it for today, everyone. We're closing in on Stretch Goal #2. We'll be back soon to (hopefully) talk about that and see if Lillian has gotten into any more mischief.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone,
Charlie and the rest of Team Ash
Lillian gets around... even into outer space

Hey White Ashians,
Thank you for continuing to support our campaign in force. We’re really excited about how everything is shaping up here. We’re going to open up a couple of stretch goals to improve the book. But first, we wanted to talk to you a little about White Ash’s resident fan favorite, nepo baby, Lillian.
If you’ve been with us for a bit, you likely know that Lillian at times can be unpredictable and occasionally rash in her decisions.
Well, it turns out, in this coming issue (small spoiler), she gets magic’d off. As to where she ends up, that’s mostly for inside the comic.
However, along the way, she took a couple of pit stops (crossover alert) in the worlds of a few of our friends’ books… starting with Ron Randall’s Trekker.
If you don’t know Trekker, Ron’s been telling the story of bounty hunter turned reluctant rebel hero Mercy St. Clair for over 30 years now. With stops at Dark Horse and Image, he’s now publishing all of his volumes through Kickstarter, and we here at White Ash Comics couldn't happier getting to share the platform with him. Ron is a true craftsman of the medium and has built a world so rich and deep that you can get lost diving in (and we encourage you to do so).
Lillian is actually a huge comic and Trekker fan (who knew) and has backed every Kickstarter to date. When she found out she had a chance to meet Mercy, she was very excited. As to if Mercy wanted to/ enjoyed meeting Lillian, you’ll find out in the one-page CROSSOVER COMIC illustrated by Denis Dupanovic that’s EXCLUSIVE to anyone who backs BOTH campaigns.
So here's how this works. IF you back both White Ash and Trekker at a digital level, you’ll get the digital version of the story. IF you back both books at a physical level (having a comic mailed to you) you will receive a one page, Mercy and Lillian Walk Into a Bar… print comic.
So be like Lillian, and make a trip to the world of Trekker.
Now, time to stretch.
If and when we hit $36,500 will be commissioning a new pin-up of Lillian to include in the comic.
If we hit $40,000, we will make Chapter 09/10 a perfect bound book.
And if we’re lucky enough to hit 40K with some time left on the clock, we’ll return with a few more thoughts about how far we can stretch. But for now, thank you again for all your continued support. We’ll be back soon with an update about where Lillian’s inter-comic adventure might take her next.
You all are the very best,
Charlie and the rest of Team Ash,
